FAQ Section
"I'm already slammed. I don't have time for a consultant." That's the problem, not a reason to skip it. No time means the business can't run without you — which is the exact thing we'd be fixing. I'm not here to add to your plate. I'm here to take the stuff off it that was never supposed to be there.
"How are you different from every other consultant?" Most of them learned this from a deck. I learned it pushing a broom, running CAT teams, and failing at my own shop. And I'm not a former operator telling you what I did back when — I'm a sitting COO right now, making these calls this week with real money on the line. It's not theory. It's what I'm doing today.
"What's it cost?" Depends what you need — a one-time read, a fix on one broken part of the shop, or me in your corner ongoing. The first conversation's free and there's no pitch on it. We find out what's actually wrong before anybody talks money.
"I tried a consultant once. Got a binder I never opened. Why's this different?" Because I don't hand you a binder and leave. I work the problem alongside you until the fix sticks on the floor — not just on paper. If it isn't running different in your shop, I didn't do my job.
"How long till I see anything change?" Faster than you'd think on the obvious leaks — cash you're not collecting, money you're not asking for. The deeper stuff, the systems and the people, takes longer, because making a standard stick always does. Simple isn't the same as easy.
"Do you actually know restoration, or just business?" 30 years of it. Water, fire, mold, large loss, CAT, recon. I've stood in every chair in the building. I know what the tech isn't telling the PM and what the PM's hiding from the owner.
"Are you going to tell me to buy a bunch of software?" No. Most "software problems" are standard problems wearing a disguise. We fix how the work runs first. Then, if a tool actually earns its place, we talk — and these days that conversation's more about AI than the old software anyway.
"Am I too small? Too big?" My sweet spot is $1–3M owners who've become the bottleneck in their own shop. If that's you, we should talk. If you're way outside that, I'll tell you straight and point you somewhere better.
"In person or remote?" Both. Some of it I can do from anywhere. Some of it I need to see with my own eyes on your floor. We'll figure out what your situation actually needs.
